Week of Fashion 2017
This years’ fashion show by senior students in MICA was inspired by colors in different settings. Garnering cheers from lots of people, the show demonstrated congruity in incongruity, an order in the chaos, and the dynamics of colors and material. I am out of the loop in terms of fashion though these full of ironies inspired me a lot in a way that there are no absolute norms that we should follow especially in this field; something we might think is imperfect might be perfect as it is thus we don’t have to be obsessed with being something defined as “ideal” or “perfect” in this society which might, in fact, fetter our imaginations.
